Play Crazy Eights online free
A classic card game with a simple goal: match the suit or rank, use wild eights to change suit, and empty your hand first. Play online against 1–3 AI opponents.
Both choices are free and play against computer opponents. Saved progress signs in to keep Crazy Eights XP and progress on your account, separate from poker. Guest play needs no account; your browser may keep a local save, but nothing is saved to an account.

What is Crazy Eights?
Crazy Eights, also called Crazy 8, is a matching card game played with a standard deck. Take turns playing a card that matches the top discard’s suit or rank. Eights are wild: play one to choose the next suit. The first player to get rid of every card wins.
Your first game in three steps
- 01
Match the top card
Look at the discard pile. Play a card of the same suit or rank, or an eight.
- 02
Choose a suit with an eight
An eight can change the suit even when you have a matching card. Choose the suit you want the next player to follow.
- 03
Empty your hand
You may draw one instead of playing. Play the drawn card if it matches, or keep it and end your turn. Empty your hand to win.

Play as guestA straightforward starter version
House rules vary. FeltSavvy uses draw-one, not draw-until-you-can-play, with no skips, reverses or draw-two penalties. Start with matching suits and ranks and choosing a suit on an eight. The complete Crazy Eights guide explains the turn details.
Before you play
Is it free, and do I need an account?
Yes, both choices are free. Play as guest starts without an account and earns no account XP. Choose Play with saved progress to sign in and save your Crazy Eights progress.
Am I playing computers or other people?
These Crazy Eights games are against 1–3 AI opponents, not human players.
Can I learn before starting?
Yes. The beginner tutorial walks through matching cards, wild eights and turns. Then play as guest at your own pace.
Is Crazy Eights the same as UNO?
They share the idea of matching cards and emptying your hand, but they are not the same game. Crazy Eights uses a standard playing-card deck. UNO uses its own coloured deck and action cards; this Crazy Eights starter version has no skips, reverses or draw-two cards.
