Practice Texas Hold’em against computer opponents

Know a few poker rules but still feel unsure when the action reaches you? Use the practice table to try Texas Hold’em with computer opponents and virtual chips.

Focus on understanding the hand rather than putting real money at risk.

A genuine capture of FeltSavvy’s practice table. Computer-controlled opponents and virtual chips; your cards and available actions vary by hand.

What you can practise

Read your two private cards alongside the shared board. Follow the betting rounds and choose whether to check, bet, call, raise or fold when those actions are available.

Optional coaching can help you think about a decision. Its feedback is automated and may be incomplete or mistaken. Winning a hand does not, by itself, prove that every decision was good.

One decision, explained

The blinds are 5 and 10 chips. You are the big blind, so you already have 10 chips committed. Other players have called, but nobody has raised.

You can check: you do not need to add another 10 chips just to stay in the hand. You can also raise when the betting rules allow it.

Checking keeps your cards in play. Folding gives up your claim to the pot.
